What are some examples/reminders?

Remember that study guides should be modified to fit the needs of your students. Here are some possible modifications that you can adopt for particular students:

  • leave room in the margins for students to take notes.

  • print page numbers next to sentences/questions to help them find answers

  • print missing words on the bottom of the page (word bank)

  • have more advanced students write the entire definition of the word

  • use the study guide as a homework assignment

  • write the study guide at a reading level that fits most of your students
